Project organization

Organisation

Project funding: The project is funded by the Ministry for the Environment, Climate and Sustainable Development and the University of Luxembourg for a period of 5 years.

Reference group: The project reference group includes 15 members who were invited based on their expertise and affiliation with organisations playing a central role in how we engage with water and soil in Luxembourg.   Members include representatives from the public and private sector, as well as organized civil society and research organisations. The reference group advises on thematic points of emphasis and on participation and direction of the project, and has the opportunity to provide feedback on all published results of the project.

Scientific Advisory Board: The Scientific Advisory Board ensures that the project and its methods, theories and concepts, are connected with and take account of salient international research. The Board also supports the evaluation of the project and the development of quality criteria for this type of transdisciplinary research.

Partners: In the work stream NEXUS RIVER BASINS, the NEXUS team works closely with the river partnerships Syr and Upper Sûre. In addition, in the NEXUS CITIZEN SCIENCE work stream we work closely with the University College London (UCL).
